The Holidays are coming

Hello:)

This is the last week before our Christmas holidays and I'm so excited! Next week is a pretty eventful week. On Monday and Tuesday all TYs have our five Christmas exams. Then on Wednesday we are going bowling. It will be a great way to end before Christmas.

I also have some exciting news! Our TY blog has won the Spider Blog Award and we came second in the Edublog Awards. Its a great achievement and I congratulations to all of the TYs. Our TY blog has been a great success and make sure to follow us on twitter at @StWolstansTY .

Support the fashion and the cakes

Hello:)

This is a very eventful week in TY to say the least. Lets start with today. Today my TY class Banba is having a cake sale to fund raise for our Mini Companies. My Mini Company is called Sweet Dreams so check out our upcoming facebook page! I hope we raise some money for our cause.

Tomorrow which is Thursday the 15th of November it is our Home EC. Fashion show. I am so excited for this. We have been working on our designs since September. We basically have to make a design inspired by a particular fashion era using a white T-shirt and jeans. We chose to copy the iconic Audrey Hepburn who dominated the 1960s fashion era.

Next week is our last week before our Christmas Holidays. We have two days of exams and then we are going bowling on the Wednesday. Ive had a great time in TY so far and I cant wait to come back after Christmas!

Breathtaking Ballet, Magical Music and Outstanding Opera

Well this week in TY is all about music .The Sound of Music has is being performed from Monday to Thursday this week. It is an amazing show and a really entertaining night!For more pictures and information check out http://www.stwolstans.ie/!

Last week we went to see to Ballet and it was great. We spent the day at it and it was a really worthwhile trip. Some girls from our school was even in it. The costumes were beautiful and I could sort of understand the storyline behind the ballet. The theme was the Nutcracker.

The week before last we went to see the opera," Don Giovanni", in the swan cinema in Dublin. It was amazing. We were lucky that there was sub-titles because if there was not none of us would have been able to understand what was going on! The main character in the opera was Don Giovanna who was interesting to say the least. He was a rich nobleman who adored women. The only bad thing about the opera was it was very long. It was about three hours in total.

The past few weeks in TY have been very creative and I loved them!
